Visit to the Abbey Gardens

This summer we were lucky enough to be able to take a trip out of the home to th Abbey Gardens in Bury St Edmunds. Eight residents and staff from Melford Court had a great afternoon taking in the colourful and award-winning gardens in the sunshine.

After a walk around the gardens and walkways, residents enjoyed a cup of tea at the tearoom in the grounds and visited the birds in the Abbey Gardens aviary. This was a great trip out enjoyed by all and a return trip is being planned in the future.
