The Maple Memory Centre is a home that specialises in caring for people with memory challenges and is situated within Brandon Park Nursing Home, owned and operated by Stow Healthcare for the Catchpole family. We pride ourselves on providing premium memory care in a stunning, newly developed wing, adjacent to the original Grade II Listed mansion, Brandon Park House. In addition to premium memory care and well-appointed suites, the Maple Memory Centre at Brandon Park provides two acres of beautifully maintained gardens, and private areas for residents to enjoy.
Our Maple Memory Centre Suites offer large and well-appointed rooms for our residents in our newly developed Willow wing. All suites provide beautifully decorated, comfortable bedrooms that include wet-room en-suite bathrooms. The Maple Memory Centre offers a wonderful free flow through to the main house for residents to enjoy the outdoor space as they please, and to access the wider community.

Daily life at the Maple Memory Centre is a mixture of enjoyable social events and peaceful relaxation and strives to maximise independence for those living there.
In the Maple Memory Centre, we give people back daily, independent activities they were once used to. We put meaningful things in their hands, whether a broom to sweep the floor, or a trowel to weed the garden, or a paintbrush to create a picture. Giving people something to hold that connects them to their own life experience can help connect people back to the wider world again.
Our methods are firmly based on ‘Montessori methods for care’, which aim to promote a non-clinical and homely feel. Staff known as ‘Homemakers’ support those living in the Maple Memory Centre and help to maximise their independence and find real purpose and joy in each day.
The Homemaker may accompany family members to the kitchen to make a cup of tea and butter some toast, or enjoy a game with them whilst listening to the radio and singing along. There are no set activities because everyone joins in and the day is full of meaningful things, whether pottering in the garden, baking some cakes or enjoying a story together.

We encourage free flow through the Maple Memory Centre, with residents able to use the outdoor space as they please and to access the wider community with any support that they need to do that.
Maple Memory Centre fees include 24-hour premium care, fine linens, In-house laundry, freshly prepared meals from our professional kitchen, and regular social functions.
At the Maple Memory Centre, we recognise the importance of food, not just as a source of nutrition, but for the way in which it encourages our residents to socialise, reminisce and celebrate. Our meals are freshly cooked, nutritionally balanced and served in gorgeous surroundings to encourage residents to enjoy their mealtimes.
We look to the seasons to inspire change in our menus and take care to prepare dishes that reflect food our residents have been used to enjoying throughout their lives as well as encouraging residents to try something new!
We cater for a variety of dietary requirements and benefit from staff with training (up to degree level) in nutrition, who work closely with the care and catering staff to ensure good levels of nutrition are maintained. Food can be enjoyed in your own room should you so choose.
