Sister Home, Melford Court, rated ‘Good’

We are delighted to report that Melford Court has been rated ‘as good overall and also good in all five categories by CQC following their May inspection. The inspectors said they found: “a welcoming, open and uplifting culture at the home.” as well as commenting that “the entire staff team worked cohesively together.”

We are hugely proud of what our staff have achieved at Melford Court since we took ownership of the home just 16 months ago, especially given that the home was previously rated as ‘Requires Improvement’ overall, and inadequate for care, prior to our acquisition. The staff and management at the home have made dramatic improvements since Stow Healthcare took ownership and we look forward to improving our care offering further still in the future.”
