Local MP & Health Secretary Visits our Home

Brandon Park held a celebratory reception on Friday 18th January to celebrate its second ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) after it’s inspection in September. Guests included staff, residents, representative GPs from local surgeries and other local businesses. Brandon Park’s local MP and Secretary of State for Health and Social Care the Rt Hon Matt Hancock was guest of honour at the celebration and praised the work that goes on to make it the success and deserving of the ‘Outstanding’ Rating. In an address to those in attendance Matt Hancock said, “It is wonderful to be here to be able to celebrate with you and to be able to say a huge “Well Done” to every member of the team, it really is a team effort. The whole future of the NHS is predicated on the better integration with social care and the sustainable future of social care is predicated on closer working relationships with the NHS right across the board. There isn’t a better example than Brandon Park Nursing Home and the ‘Outstanding’ rating is an accurate representation of what goes on here. Thank you to each and every person who helps make it possible.”

We were delighted to welcome the Rt Hon Matt Hancock to Brandon Park. Matt has always been a great supporter of this home and he has made a big impact on our residents. To have him here for such a special occasion was fantastic.
