Enjoying fun in Brandon Country Park!

It has been lovely this summer to see some of the great sights we have on our doorstep. Brandon Country Park has so much to offer. This summer the Country Park hosted an Alice in Wonderland theatre event, which we enjoyed supporting by making Alice in Wonderland themed crafts. Brandon Country Park has also hosted its first Tails and Trails festival. The event, run by MarketPlace and the Brandon Community Forum, took place in September and was themed around the environment. Different art installations by six regional artists were set up throughout the park, including a soundscape, a giant kaleidoscope and camera-less photos.

You can see here some of the exploration that we have enjoyed in the park, which really does benefit residents. If you are interested in volunteering to support residents, including on walks, do let us know!
