Cedars Place care home in Halstead has marked an extensive refurbishment with a relaunch event, celebrating a refreshed environment while continuing to provide uninterrupted care throughout the works.
The relaunch brought together residents, colleagues and members of the local health and care community to mark the next chapter for the home. A highlight of the event was the official ribbon cutting by one of Cedars Place’s own residents, reflecting the ethos that this is, above all, their home.
The refurbishment includes brighter communal areas, increased natural light and refreshed interiors using heritage colours. Newly commissioned artwork by local artist Joan Gibson, who the team met through their involvement with Halstead in Bloom, reflects the home’s history and the changing seasons, helping to create calm, familiar spaces for residents to enjoy day to day.
Alongside the refreshed surroundings, Cedars Place continues to deliver high quality residential and nursing care, tailored to individual needs. The team takes a holistic and nurturing approach, supporting physical, emotional and social wellbeing within a safe, supportive environment, while working closely with local healthcare professionals in line with Stow Healthcare’s commitment to care you can trust.
