Welcome to Kim – New Deputy Manager

Most of you will now have met Kim Steed who took up her new role as Deputy Manager in October 2019. Kim joined us on the bank as a nurse in the summer before being successful in applying for the Deputy Manager position. Kim studied General Adult Nursing at the University of Suffolk, having previously worked as a Healthcare Assistant in nursing homes for 15 years- including Melford Court! Since qualifying, Kim has gained ten years’ nursing experience, including in the acute medical setting at West Suffolk Hospital, as well as experience in the nursing home setting. Kim is enjoying working alongside Amanda and getting to know Melford Court’s staff residents and their families.
