Suffolk Care Awards Short listings

Stowlangtoft Healthcare homes have succeeded in securing 15% of the shortlisted entries for the whole county in the inaugural Suffolk Care Awards. The awards, put in place to highlight the fantastic care provided in care homes and in people’s homes across the county are currently going through the judging process.

Both Stowlangtoft Hall and Brandon Park were shortlisted for three awards, with Stowlangtoft successful in the categories of Food and Catering, Culture, Creativity and Activities and End of Life Care and Brandon Park being shortlisted in the areas of Dignity and Respect, Motivational Leadership and End of Life Care too.

We are thrilled that both homes were announced as finalists in late July and five Brandon Park staff will be going to Kesgrave for the Gala Awards dinner to find out if we win our category! Wish us luck!

We have also nominated the home and several individuals for awards as part of the National Care Awards and Great British Care Awards, which will be judged this autumn. We have nominated Brandon Park as Dignity and Respect Care Home of the Year and feel so proud that the home has come so far in such a short space of time! We will keep you posted!
