Resident Joan has been busy of the past weeks knitting Easter chicks with a crème egg surprise inside as a fundraising activity for Stowlangtoft Hall activities department. The idea came from the activities coordinator Claire who found the pattern to test out and they turned out to be a huge hit. They decided to make a batch to sell in the home shop to raise money for our trip to the seaside. With the first batch selling out within days Joan has been hard at work to meet the demand from staff and visitors to the home. Joan has always been a keen knitter and has knitted numerous items of clothing for her family- her son has only ever had one bought pull over in his life!
