Easter has been particularly busy for us with lots of activities to bring residents, families and staff together over the Easter bank holiday weekend. We started off on Good Friday with ‘Posh Hat and Frocks”. The Ladies donned their best frocks and decorated their own Easter hats at the morning craft session. This was followed by musical entertainment and high tea in the afternoon. Resident Easter eggs were delivered to all the residents in their rooms on Easter Sunday and there was also a variety of Easter arts and crafts. This year, all of Brandon Park’s Easter decorations were handmade by residents.
The highlight of the weekend was the resident Easter egg hunt on Easter Saturday. Congratulations to Bettina Burbidge who won first prize with 9 eggs collected followed closely by Freda Fenton in second place with 8 eggs. Thank you to Tesco’s for the egg donation!
