Celebrating a Royal Wedding in Style

On the 21st April we took party in National Care Home Open Day and celebrated the Queen’s birthday with live music, afternoon tea and a visit from Local fire fighter Brian Hawes who is a recipient of the Queen’s Fire service Medal. In May the celebrations continued with a British style street party with take away style fish and chips in front of the television whilst watching Harry and Meghan say ‘I do’. However, wedding fever is still very much alive at Stowlangtoft Hall with a display of lavish wedding dressing decorating the entrance hall.

Our staff wanted to share their wedding days with residents so decided they would bring in their wedding dresses for all to see. It is great to see a huge variety of dresses each representing different styles and eras. Thank you to all of the staff who have bought their dresses to share with us!
