Award Finalist Places for Home and Staff

We are thrilled to announce that Ford Place has scooped prestigious finalist places in several national care awards. The home has been selected as a finalist in the Care Home of the Year category in both the National Care Awards and the Caring UK awards with the home’s End of Life Care also being shortlisted for one of 6 National Finalist places.

Individual staff have been recognised too, with a nationalist finalist spot for top nurse Silvia Nunes, and regional finalist spots for mother and daughter Denise and Kayleigh Phipps in the best Palliative Care and Best Care Newcomer categories respectively. The activities team of Matt Peace and Karen Adams complete the prospective trophy haul, with their excellent activities provision at Ford Place.
