As many of you know, Sarah has left the activities department to return to work as part of the care team. Frances has since done a wonderful job taking over as activities coordinator with a fresh pair of eyes and new ideas. Frances has worked in the care sector for 30 years and has previously worked nights at Brandon Park. She trained as an activities coordinator in 2004 and has always tried to incorporate activities as this is a big part of daily living. She has completed various dementia courses to help better understand residents needs and involving them in activities that are best suited their ability and choice. Frances is a big animal lover and enjoys being outside in the garden. She is also very creative and likes to have projects on the go such as the wheelchair bags and aprons that she is currently working on. Frances is looking forward to putting together a fun packed summer activities schedule for our residents and is always open to idea, suggestion and support. If you have any ideas for Frances, please contact her on activities@brandonpark.co.uk.
