Residents at Melford Court were invited to an afternoon ‘Tea at the Ritz’ style event at our sister home in Halstead recently. Residents from Melford Court joined residents at Halstead Hall for ‘posh’ High Tea served from vintage crockery. The home’s kitchen prepared a fabulous selection of cucumber sandwiches, savoury treats, and a selection of iced buns to help make it a really special afternoon for everyone.
It was the first time the two homes have combined to share activities with one another. This was a great afternoon experience involving everyone together and was topped off by the staff who made a special effort to create a true authentic high tea experience for the residents. A huge thank you to the team at Halstead for extending the invitation. We hope to reciprocate the invitation and welcome you to Melford Court in very soon.
