A Centenarian Celebration for Alfie Wilson

We celebrated resident Alfie Wilson’s 100th birthday in April with cake, balloons and lots of laughter. Alfie enjoyed his day in style surrounded by friends and family who joined him for an afternoon tea party with staff and residents at Melford Court.

Alfie was delighted with the celebrations which included receiving his telegram from the Queen. Alfie said, “it doesn’t matter how old I am, as long as I still have my sense of humour!” Alfie’s celebrations were featured in the Suffolk Free Press.

A huge thank you to Katie and the team for organising a great afternoon of music and laughter and for making Alfie’s birthday a day to remember for him and all his family.
