From the directors, the senior management team, and all our staff, a huge thank you for the ongoing support and wonderfully warm messages you have been sending to our homes.
We know you join us in thanking also our wonderful staff for adapting to the considerable changes they are adapting to, to help protect themselves and your loved ones.
We are having to make very difficult decisions in a bid to protect our vulnerable residents at this time. We have, for some weeks, asked all of you to kindly stay away from our home, in line with government guidance and to minimise the risk of COVID-19 entering our home. The only exceptions to date have been for people receiving end of life care. From Saturday 11 April, with great regret, we have decided to restrict our visiting further, and ask that no one apart from staff and medical professionals enter our home under any circumstances, even to see a resident at end of life.
We have to do everything in our control to try and stop infection coming into, or leaving our homes, and we ask for your support and understanding at this difficult time. We will do everything we can, if your relative becomes poorly, to support you and to help with other means of communication in a way that can minimise risk to our residents, staff, you and our community. Thank you so much for your support and understanding in these difficult days. We remain here to support you and your loved ones in our care at all times.
