We are delighted to announce that full home staff and resident COVID-19 testing is now complete, and all staff and residents in Stow Healthcare homes have received negative results.
That said, we are conscious that we remain in a pandemic, and care homes in our region are still reporting their first outbreaks. As such, we are continuing to adhere to government guidance and will take all measures to protect residents and staff.
Although restrictions are beginning to lift in the general community, care home rules have not altered. Unfortunately, visits to care homes, either inside or outside, remain against government guidance. However, we are expecting an update from Central Government shortly, and we will permit visitors as soon as it is safe and legal to do so.
In the meantime, we are continuing to assist families with loved ones that are exceptionally unwell. You will be able to make arrangements with the home manager where this is something you need to do, and we will do everything we can to protect both you and our residents.
We will continue to hold Zoom meetings to give relatives and next of kin additional details of what is happening in our homes. However, for individual updates on your loved one’s the health and welfare, please contact your home manager.
Thank you for your continued support.
